AT&T OneNet Long Distance

AT&T Thrifty Bill

1.) Confirm with the LEC (Local Carrier) that the telephone Number/ANI is PIC/2PIC to 0432 CenturyLink.

- If the ANI is in CenturyLink LEC Territory email Tracy Gillette to verify the PIC is assigned to 0432 in our system at tracy.gillette@CenturyLink.com.

2.) email wisconsin.orders@centurylink.com to confirm that the Telephone Number/ANI is assigned to your account.

3.)  Follow the AT&T Thrifty Bill process below:

AT&T Process:

·         Contact the Syracuse billing office at 866-541-9791, option 2 to open a dispute.

·         The billing office will investigate the charges. If the mistake was caused by AT&T which generated the thrifty bill, the billing office will adjust the charges appropriately. If AT&T actions did not cause the bill to occur, no credit will be issued, and the invoice will be considered correct.

·         If you do not agree with the determination of the billing office, you may escalate to your assigned Service Executive. A review of the determination will be done along with any other information the customer may have provided. If AT&T caused the problem, we will correct it. If the determination is not due to AT&T, the agency will be held responsible for paying the thrifty bill.

*****Please note that when AT&T dismantles the OneNet billing (dedicated services are being removed in September, switched services in December) *****

Any long distance usage on the AT&T network will be billed as thrifty bills or as casual calling on your local service bill. There is a minimum billing of $20.95 per month for thrifty bills, and the usage is billed at $1.39 per minute. Casual billing is billed at a rate of $0.75 per minute.
