State of Wisconsin Video Conferencing
Wisconsin's BadgerNet Converged Network (BCN), is the state's enterprise network and includes video conferencing. Video technology has been used for 30+ years by Wisconsin's educators to provide access to classes throughout the state and the world that would otherwise not been available to students, especially those in rural areas, for instance. BadgerNet video is now also being used by state agencies and the state's authorized users for legal hearings, meetings, training, interviews, etc. This has resulted in substantial cost savings for agencies and other customers because travel costs are eliminated or substantially decreased.
