The first employee health and safety newsletter was published in 1998. This newsletter is co-sponsored by the Bureau of State Risk Management and the Wisconsin State Employees Union. The Safe & Sound - Being Healthy is No Accident newsletter's goal is to educate state employees about health and safety issues and to continue to remind them of the imporantace of health and safety whether at work, at home or at play.

Newsletters are distributed biannually to all state and university employees.
