The bureau consists of three sections.
The Telecommunication Administration Section administers a number of voice related contracts, including long distance phone services, local Centrex services, voice processing, Telecommunications Relay System (TRS), cellular phone services and voice systems and equipment. The section also provides telecommunications consulting support to state agencies and the UW System on a broad range of telecommunications services and products.
