2012 Grant Workshops.  The 2012 Coastal Management Program grant workshops will be held on August 29 (Milwaukee), September 6 (Green Bay), and September 10 (Ashland).  See the Coastal Management Grants page for more details.

Coastal and Estuarine Land Conservation Program (CELCP)

The Coastal Management Program coordinates the selection of proposals to submit to NOAA for the national land acquisition grant competition.  Three proposals were submitted for the FY2010 grant cycle.  NOAA has released a prioritized list of proposals (pdf), which projects funding is available for all three Wisconsin proposals. If you have a land acquisition project that meets the state's CELC Plan priorities, please contact Travis Olson

 

Great Lakes Restoration Initiative
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Great Lakes National Program Office is administering the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI).  Grants to restore Great Lakes resources are available through this initiative.

Wisconsin Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve
The Coastal Management Program is a lead partner in a multi-agency initiative to establish a National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) on Lake Superior.  More information on the status of this project, including a comprehensive listing of documents and reports, is posted here.
