Interactive Map for Viewing WCMP Funded Projects 

Instructions:

Below is a link which will allow you to access a Google Earth map depicting the locations of some of the various coastal management projects funded since 2006 by the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program (WCMP).  Note that this map only reflects projects which are associated with a particular geographic location. Projects included have been funded through the Coastal Zone Management Act and fall into five categories: Public Access, Great Lakes Education, Land Acquisition, Nonpoint Source Pollution and Habitat Restoration. There are many other projects funded by WCMP (multi-county projects, planning related projects, various technical assistance projects, etc.) which are not included in this map. The projects shown are all located within the fifteen counties which comprise Wisconsin's Coastal Zone.

  • In order to view the WCMP Project Map, you will need Google Earth installed on your computer. You can download the latest version free of charge hereInstructions for how to download Google Earth can be accessed at this site.

  • Once you have Google Earth installed, click on the link below to access the WCMP Project map.  Note that this file is large (over 100 Mb) and may take a while to download, depending on what type internet connection that you have.
