Weatherization Program - Multifamily Buildings - ARRA

Governor Doyle Announces

Recovery Weatherization Program

for Large, Multifamily Buildings

SEE BELOW FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDDING OPPORTUNITIES

What is the program?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) has provided funding for a new program to weatherize large, multifamily buildings (20+ units per structure). The Department of Administration has launched the program to weatherize approximately 3,000 units in apartment buildings across the state over the next two years, reducing energy use and creating jobs. The Division of Energy Services and Division of State Facilities are working together to implement this project.  Upcoming opportunities for the program include multiple Design/Program Management Services and Construction Contracts.  See below for details.

You can also find more information on this program on the Division of Energy's website, Home Energy section - Special Projects (http://homeenergyplus.wi.gov/section.asp?linkid=1585&locid=25)
