Basic Guide to Wisconsin's Wetlands and Their Boundaries|
The Basic Guide was published in 1995 and is the official state guide to delineating wetland boundaries in Wisconsin. The guide was developed to assist zoning staff and other government officials to understand and identify wetland ecosystems. It outlines how to recognize the variety of areas defined as wetlands in Wisconsin and understand the principles which influence how boundary lines are drawn between wetland and non-wetland habitats - called the wetland delineation process.
The Basic Guide is currently out of print. Copies may be available from local public or university libraries, including the state system of government document depository libraries.
For example, several copies are available in the South Central Library System online catalog.
